Frequently Asked Questions
When/Where is the Wedding?
Our wedding will be held at 6:00pm on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the lovely Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. We are having both our ceremony and reception at the Lioncrest venue, located in the center of the estate. In order to attend the ceremony on time, we recommend entering the estate by at least 5:15pm.
Are guests required to have an admission ticket to access the estate for our wedding?
No; guests will gain access to the estate with ease a few hours before the event by simply mentioning they are guests for the Guest-Cromer wedding. However, if they would like to visit Biltmore House and Gardens they will need to purchase a ticket to do so.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony and reception will be indoors. However, there will be access to an outdoor veranda with lights and portable heaters as part of the venue.
When is the R.S.V.P. deadline?
Our R.S.V.P. deadline is October 1, 2021. Please complete your R.S.V.P. on our website as soon as you know whether or not you are able to attend our celebration.
What should I wear?
We have chosen a formal dress code. For women, this requires a floor-length dress or gown. For men, this requires a dinner jacket with matching trousers and formal shoes. Optionally, men can also wear a cummerbund or a waistcoat and bow tie.
Are children welcome?
Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair. We respectfully request no children under 14 at the reception.
Is there a block of hotel rooms reserved for guests?
If guests wish to stay at the Biltmore Estate, there are rooms available at a discounted rate; guests will automatically receive a reduced rate on their daytime admission ticket simply by mentioning the wedding party name, Guest-Cromer, at any Guest Services location on the estate.
If you are interested at staying in another nearby hotel, we have provided a list of hotels, phone numbers, and distance from the estate down below.
What food will be at the wedding? Will my allergies be accommodated?
